End of the year thoughts can be a whirlpool of emotions, especially when we’re in the habit of digitizing our memories. Social media platforms continue to change the way we communicate and interact with each other. It is within reason to understand these changes will impact our ability to perceive ourselves and the world around us. Simply existing without a social media footprint seems to contradict our culture’s quenchless appetite for overt vulnerability. The desire for community is innate for all humans- but what are the things we can keep for ourselves?
